Who is Oleksandra Matviichuk?

Oleksandra Matviichuk is a Ukrainian human rights lawyer and head of the Center for Civil Liberties.

She is the author of numerous reports submitted to the United Nations, the Council of Europe, the European Union and the International Criminal Court. A recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize in 2022, she has also been recognised with the Right Livelihood Award, the Sakharov Prize, and was named one of the Financial Times’ 25 most influential women in the world.

Support Women and Children

SEMA Ukraine is an NGO by and for Ukrainian women who have suffered  sexual and gender-based violence as a result of Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine. We unite and support women who survived sexual violence.

The Voices of Children Foundation has been helping children and families affected by war since 2015. They provide psychological support and humanitarian assistance to families across Ukraine.

Gen.Ukrainian is an NGO studying childhood during the war, and creates innovative psychological rehabilitation programs for children and adolescents experiencing trauma as a result of the war.


Rebuilding Lives and Communities

Insulate Ukraine is redefining humanitarian aid with their emergency shatterproof window. They have installed windows in homes, schools and hospitals, whilst providing local employment in frontline towns.

East SOS supports victims of conflict and internally displaced people (IDPs). Their projects also support democratic transformation and promotion of human rights values in Ukraine.

Veterans HUB ODESA provides social services, psychological support, and opportunities for veterans and their families. They support family members of the deceased, prisoners of war and missing persons.
